One Quiet Conversation provides a private, informal and non-clinical listening space. It is not therapy, counselling, medical care, legal advice, diagnosis, treatment or emergency support.

Use of the service

You may write in any language and may remain anonymous. Do not use the service to send unlawful content, malicious software, passwords, financial credentials or material intended to harm another person or the service.

Replies and availability

Replies may sometimes be close to real time when the admin is active, but continuous live availability and a specific response time are not guaranteed.

Private links

You are responsible for keeping your private conversation link confidential. Anyone with that link may be able to open the conversation.

Notifications

Browser notifications are optional and can be disabled through your browser settings. A notification is only an alert that a reply is waiting; the private conversation remains on the website.

No payment

The current service does not require payment to start or continue a conversation.

Safety

If you or another person may be in immediate danger, do not rely on this website. Use appropriate local emergency or crisis services.
